FU-HACHIMAN SHRINE
				It is believed that this shrine was built in 729 as a guardian deity for the ancient provincial goverment offices. Roumon (a two-tiered traditional entrance), which has been designated as a prefectural historic site, has both profundity and beauty, and represents dignity of old times. The 40000 square meters premises are blessed with natural groves, and have been selected as one of "the best 100 selections of the beautiful hometown".
