BANSHOZAN KASUISAI This Buddhist temple was founded in the Muromachi period - the period before the Edo period - and is well known as the principal temple of Akiba Religion, the only religion in Japan for the protection from fire disaster, and as one of the largest Zen temples along the Tokaido Road. It is also known as "Hana No Tera", or "the temple of flawers", for having 5.000 peonies in its garden. Peonies of various colors fill the gardens in the precinct every spring and never fail to give pleasure to the eyes of visiting worshippers. |

BANSHOSAN KASUISAI Templo budista fundado antes mesmo do Período Edo, no período Medieval de Muromachi. Principal centro do culto ao deus Akiba, que protege de incêndios e do fogo. Também conhecido por ser o maior centro de prática do Budismo Zen em toda a Tokaido. Sua alcunha é "templo das flores", devido aos 5.000 pés de peônias que, na primavera, fazem a festa dos olhos de quem vêm admirá-las.
